It’s impossible to understand the ripple effect of amazing things that occur in the world when one person reaches mental clarity. We find that incredibly inspiring & it’s why we do what we do.
Hi! Cassie & Brandon here - thanks for visiting our page to read our story. We’re a husband & wife team who started Modern Therapy in 2017 with the mission to make talk therapy more accessible & less intimidating. The truth is that everybody has mental health, but not everybody is paying enough attention it. Modern Therapy operates around some core beliefs.
We believe that:
Many of life’s problems could be solved by learning how to better control thoughts & behaviors.
The culture surrounding mental health is changing & the field of talk therapy needs to change with it.
You deserve to get a call back if you reach out to a therapist.
You shouldn’t have to be placed on a 3 month waiting list in order to get an appointment.
Everyone should have access to therapy at a fair rate.
We deeply understand the vulnerability it takes to work with a therapist & that is never overlooked or undervalued. At Modern Therapy, your needs will always be put first. Our aim is to create an awkward free space where you feel less like a patient & more like a partner. Our goal is to give you the resources to help you navigate your thoughts, feelings & emotions so you can make progress towards living your best life.
