I would describe my approach as warm, patient, and having the ability to listen closely to understand the client's needs, and provide the right answer/solution for the client.
When a client reaches out to the office team, they can expect a warm greeting, a great listener, and an ease in helping them become a better version of themselves.
Outside my role as Office Coordinator, I am always trying to live my life to the fullest with my family and friends and enjoy the good in any situation.
I tailor my approach by first taking the time to understand and listen to the specific needs, preferences, and goals. I then match them with the right clinician who specializes in their request and fits well with their schedule.
If someone was nervous about reaching out, I would tell them that they have nothing to lose! It usually takes me only a few minutes to get the information that I need to set up a potential client. If after a few minutes of their time, they are no longer interested, it is not a problem! I am here to answer any question that they may have, big or small!
I would define being successful in my role when a client that I am speaking to is very nervous or apprehensive at first, and by the end of our conversation, is laughing and telling me that they feel silly for not calling me sooner. Any negative thoughts or fears that they had going into the conversation are now gone and they are excited to start with Modern Therapy.
I prioritize my own well-being by making sure that I go outside during my lunch break. I also make sure that when I am done for the day, I shut down my computer and do not go back to it until the next day. It can be quite hard to walk away sometimes when you have a lot of work to do, but it is very important for me to step away from work and enjoy my free time.
