Samantha Silverberg, LPC
Sam is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Infant Mental Health Expert (IMH-E®), and EMDR Certified Therapist (EMDRIA). She received her Master's degree in psychology at the New School as well as a Master's in clinical psychology at La Salle University. Her passion for the field has led her to pursue a doctoral degree in clinical psychology at Fielding Graduate University.
She has extensive experience working with individuals of all backgrounds and ages, but specializes in working with individuals who have histories of complex and chronic trauma, anxiety, relationship difficulties, chronic illness, and mood treatment.
Her clinical approach leverages her specialized training in expressive art therapies, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and elements of EDMR. She uses an integrative approach in treatment focusing on a variety of modalities such as dialectical behavior therapy to meet the individual need. It is very important to Sam to make each client she works with feel comfortable, supported and heard.
