This is a positive type of stress that manifests itself in daily life. It usually comes as a direct result of positive occurrences such as marriage, a promotion, holidays, retiring, a new baby, winning money, graduating school, etc.
This is a negative type of stress that manifests itself in daily life. Events such as divorce, punishment, injury, negative feelings, legal issues, financial problems, work difficulties, etc can bring about distress.
Stress is everywhere so you may be used to feeling it. However, too much stress can wear you down and make you sick, both mentally and physically.
