I am dedicated to helping clients create meaningful, lasting change through evidence-based and creative approaches.
During the first session, you can expect a low-pressure and gentle exploration of what brings you into treatment. We will spend some time getting to know each other, your history with therapy (if any), what has worked, and what hasn't worked in the past. You can anticipate a relaxed, safe, and non-judgmental space where you set the pace that is comfortable for you
Allow yourself to be yourself.
I find observing client growth to be the most rewarding part of my role. Through the evidence of accomplishing goals, client feedback as well as clinical assessment measures, seeing positive and meaningful change drives me to continue doing what I do.
Prioritizing my own mental health allows me to provide the best possible care for my clients. Capitalizing on well-being while off work involves giving myself permission to relax as well as continued engagement in meaningful hobbies. It’s all about balance.
I actively teach and encourage use of the feedback loop which allows me to best fit the needs of each individual.
In addition to my identity as a Professional Counselor & Music Therapist, I am active in the performing arts field as a professional vocalist & bassist. It is my strong belief that creativity fuels the soul. This unique perspective translates into my role as a mental health professional.
