THERAPIST

Faith-Based

Collaborative

Empowering

As a result of my own healing journey, I realized the importance of having a safe place to explore, heal and grow. I wanted to create that “therapeutic space” for my clients. I view this space as a “mental health playground”. In this playground, therapy isn’t a correction, it’s a collaboration. There is room for silence, sadness, meaning and humor. It’s not about “fixing” yourself, it’s about discovering what makes you whole.

i treat all general mental health needs
i work with: couples, Adults
i specialize in: Faith-based, Relationship issues, Grief and loss

Therapeutic Style + Approach

What three words best capture your therapeutic style?

The three words that best capture my therapeutic style are: Authentic, Faith-based and Straightforward.

Personal Touch + Personality

What hobbies or interests do you have that might surprise people?

I have a passion for refinishing old furniture and giving it new life. Home decor is another interest of mine. I believe that our homes are reflective of our mental state. I refer to it as “Home Decor Therapy”. I think people may be surprised to know that I love to line dance. I even teach a few dances.

WORKING WITH CLIENTS

What is your approach to helping clients set and achieve their goals?

My approach is all about progress, not perfection. I collaborate with my clients to set meaningful goals, take manageable steps and to grow at a pace that is comfortable to them.

Therapy Philosophy

What do you find most rewarding about your work as a therapist?

The most rewarding part of being a therapist is witnessing the transformation of my clients in becoming the best version of themselves.

Personal Well-Being +  Self-Care

What’s one self-care tip you often recommend to clients?

One tip I often share with clients is to speak to themselves as they would to someone they deeply care about. The way we speak to ourselves has a powerful impact; it can shape our mindset and emotional well-being. During challenging moments, it’s especially important to be patient, compassionate, and encouraging toward ourselves.

Final Thoughts + Encouragement

If a client could only remember one thing after a session with you, what would you hope it
would be?

“I am not alone in this, and healing is possible”.
